This is a brief explanation and video of the process of drawing a sad woman using the Vector Ink app on a smartphone.

First, draw a large circle. The large circle serves as the reference line for the shape of the top of the head. Draw a horizontal and a vertical reference line in the center of the circle. The end of the vertical reference line marks the position of the chin. Draw a small circle so that its center aligns with the horizontal reference line. This small circle serves as the reference point when drawing the ears.

Using the large circle and the end of the vertical reference line as references, draw the outline of the face.

Draw the ears halfway down the small circle.

Erase the large and small circles. Refine the face outline to the desired shape. Draw the nose and mouth on the vertical reference line. Draw the nose in the middle and the mouth slightly below the nose.

Draw the eyes in the center of the eye reference circle. Draw the left and right eyes in different shapes. Draw the eyebrows on the horizontal reference line. Erase the reference lines.

Finally, refine the facial contours.

Simply draw the neck and shoulders.
